manage exchange 2003 from win7?

for those of us still on Exchange 2003 SP2 and dreaming of going to 2010 -- back in the XP days it was easy to remotely manage Exchange with the ESM Manager installed locally. Then Vista came and you had to copy and register all sorts of .DLL's as a work-around to get ESM to work. Now with Win7 there doesn't seem to be a way to install ESM locally and manage Exchange from your desktop.?
Anyone know of ways to accomplish this -- or am I stuck RDP'ing to the Exchange server to run ESM?
I've bing'ed this and couldn't find definite results.
thanks...

RE:

It's unsupported, but I have the Vista ESM loaded on my Win7 workstation and it is working fine. the Vista ESM on win7 worked better than it did on vista. I didn't get the error about having outlook installed

Download the exe from the link below and extract it, then install it!

Let me know if you have any issues with it.

Vista ESM on Windows 7

Chad thanks for the information. I downloaded and tried to install the exe but received a message that it only runs on Windows Vista. Could the exe have changed since your posting in June? Thanks

Chad -- thanks for the tip --

Chad -- thanks for the tip -- it works and without all of the previous .DLL copying from the server to my local machine. yeah!

Related but side question -- the old ESM program put the email tabs into your Active Directory Users & Computers program when you viewed user accounts. Installing the Vista version of ESM didn't get those back -- so I've still got to hop onto a 2003 DC to use ADUC to see peoples email accounts/properties. Do you know of any tricks to get these email tabs back in ADUC on a Win7 machine?
